WASHINGTON 鈥� A new Giant grocery store opened Friday on聽the corner of East Glebe Road and Jefferson Davis Highway in Alexandria.

The new store is 57,716 square feet 鈥� three times larger than its previous than the Monroe Avenue store that closed Thursday.
