WASHINGTON — Wisconsin Avenue, south of Calvert Street in Glover Park, reopened after a construction crew struck a gas line Thursday morning.

Washington Gas tells СÂÜÀòÓ°ÊÓ the gas leak occurred around 10:41 a.m. Thursday.

The gas was shut off by 11:40 a.m. and the road reopened just after noon.

The leak forced the evacuation of Whole Foods. No other businesses were evacuated, according to D.C. Fire.
