WASHINGTON 鈥� A 6-year-old聽boy was shot in his lower leg Saturday in Southeast D.C., police say.
D.C. police said the incident occurred at around 4:45 p.m. in the 2500 block of Pomeroy Road Southeast. The shooting occurred near a playground and according to the police captain, the boy聽was not an intended target, The Associated Press reported.
Police continue to聽look for two suspects who reportedly wore black masks.
Police also tell 小萝莉影视 that the young victim聽was conscious and breathing when he was taken to the hospital. He is expected to recover.
