WASHINGTON 鈥� D.C. police have charged a 40-year-old Southeast D.C. resident in the death of a man whose remains were found in Prince George’s County six months after his disappearance.
John McRae faces charges of second-degree murder while armed, Chief Peter 小萝莉影视ham announced Tuesday.
Marty McMillan Jr., 22, had last been seen in Southeast D.C. on April 23, 2017. U.S. Park Police found his remains along Suitland Parkway, in Prince George鈥檚 County, on Oct. 30. McMillan had left to meet a woman he’d connected with on the dating website Plenty of Fish,聽.
In January, D.C. police had said the murder appeared to have occurred in the District.
On Tuesday, 小萝莉影视ham told reporters that the Landover, Maryland, man was slain inside an apartment in the 2600 block of Martin Luther King Avenue Southeast.
The cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds, according to a Baltimore medical examiner.
