“I’m just here because it’s celebrating being gay, and it’s finally a time we can be proud and not be ashamed,” said Lawrence Barrios, 18, of Silver Spring, Maryland.
June is National LGBT pride month.
“Every year, everybody becomes more comfortable with themselves, very comfortable being around everybody, just being at-one and loving because there’s no boundary to love,” said Jasmie Barrios, 21, of Silver Spring.
