WASHINGTON 鈥斅燙apital Bikeshare now has 400 stations across the region and is about聽to add even more next month in Fairfax County, Virginia.
Capital Bikeshare said its 400th station was installed at Division Avenue and Foot Street NE near the H.D. Woodson Senior High School in D.C. There also are stations in Montgomery County in Maryland, and Arlington and Alexandria in Virginia.
The Fairfax County Department of Transportation told 小萝莉影视 that all equipment has arrived for the expansion to Reston and Tysons, but there is no specific launch date yet.
The $1.7 million plan will bring 80 bikes and 14 stations to the Tysons area and 132 bikes at 15 stations to the Reston area. Riders can take bikes one-way between different station areas.
Capital Bikeshare鈥檚 announcement marking the 400th station said the service is expected to launch in Fairfax County sometime in October.
