WASHINGTON –Pop performer聽Kelly Clarkson has announced the cancellation of several upcoming tour dates, including two performances at Wolf Trap tonight and Sunday, according to a release Saturday.
A statement by Clarkson and her tour said doctors urged her to rest her voice:
Due to instruction by several doctors, Kelly Clarkson must聽 unfortunately cancel scheduled tour dates in Vienna, VA (9/12 & 9/13),聽Tampa, FL (9/15), West Palm Beach, FL (9/17), 聽Raleigh, NC (9/19) &聽Camden, NJ (9/20). All tickets will be refunded at the original point聽of purchase.
Ms. Clarkson stated: “So bummed that I have to cancel some of my tour dates. This kills聽me, but doctors are saying I need to rest my voice! I can’t wait to聽get healthy and see y’all back on the road soon.”
