WASHINGTON — A man聽was struck and killed by a CSX train early Friday morning and the investigation caused聽delays for MARC’s Brunswick Line during the early commute.
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue say a man聽was hit on MARC鈥檚 Brunswick Line, near the Germantown station located at 19330 Mateny Hill Road, at about 1:40 a.m. The man died from his injuries at the scene.
Detectives are working to establish the victim鈥檚 identity.
The Brunswick Line trains are聽back up and聽running as of 7 a.m. after a one-hour delay due to the police investigation. Trains are still聽running late.
Metro will honor tickets.
