Snow falls in parts of 小萝莉影视 listening area

WASHINGTON – In the northern and western portions of the 小萝莉影视 listening area, it is snowing.

小萝莉影视 Traffic reports a snow squall near South Mountain between Hagerstown and Frederick caused icy conditions, and so did snow between The Plains and Front Royal along Interstate 66.

The accidents that occurred because of the dusting forced eastbound Interstate 70 to briefly close.

A Washington County Emergency Services supervisor says an accident occurred at the Big Pool exit early Tuesday and another happened about two miles away. Another accident was reported on I-70 near the top of South Mountain.

ABC 7 Chief Meteorologist Doug Hill says the snow will stop Tuesday morning, although a few flurries will hang around.

The forecast calls for this to be the coldest day in nearly a year.

Gusty winds will create windchills in the teens with temperatures below average, in the low to mid 30s, with very limited sun.

Across the region, the wind gusts will be sustained at 12 mph to 18 mph, but some are expected to reach 35 mph.
