WASHINGTON — On Wednesday, Oct. 28, a team of members of Congress, as well as former NFL players, took the field against a team of Capitol Police in the seventh Congressional Football Game. The Capitol Police’s team, the Guards, beat the Mean Machine, 7-6.

While there was friendly competition on and off the football field, the members of Congress and the Capitol Police were there to have fun and raise money for several charities connected to the event.
